Will oil be broken down faster and in essence need replacement sooner in stop and go or is it "used" up more quickly at higher speeds during longer trips? (I use Mobil 1 syn.) Turbo life aside, I was thinking that excessive higher speed driving (80+mph like I said, for more than 100 miles at a time) is tougher on the engine than stop and go. I can see how stop and go is tougher on things like brakes, trannies, clutches, etc., but didn't think it was really tough on the engine itself.
